North Country is geographically the largest school district in Vermont. The district borders Quebec, Canada in the north and serves approximately 3200 students.
The North Country Schools/OENSU consist of six K-8 schools
(Brighton, Charleston, Coventry, Lowell, Newport Town, and
Troy); five K-6 schools (Derby, E. Taylor Hatton in Morgan,
Holland, Jay/Westfield and Newport City); the North Country
Union Junior High School (7-8) and the North Country Union
High School (9-12).
